Vehicle import to Côte d'Ivoire

We deliver new special vehicles to Côte d'Ivoire via the Port of Abidjan (or San Pédro), managing customs clearance with the Ivorian Customs.

  1. 1 Cargo tracking note (BSC) issued and validated with the Ivorian Shippers' Office (OIC) before the vessel arrives.
  2. 2 Import declaration form (FDI) opened via the foreign-trade single window (GUCE-CI), with bank domiciliation.
  3. 3 Conformity verification programme (VOC) leading to the Final Classification and Value Report (RFCV), mandatory for the declaration.
  4. 4 Detailed customs declaration in the SYDAM system (SYDAM AUTO vehicle module) by a licensed broker.
  5. 5 Assessment of duties (UEMOA/ECOWAS common external tariff) and VAT (18%) on the CIF value, then issue of the release order at the port.

Vehicles acquired through a public tender or a convention may qualify for a customs exemption. Exact tariff classification and rates are confirmed case by case.
